We can provide performances to liven up any party!
If you are hosting a party in Osaka, Kyoto or Kobe, we can provide you with all sorts of exciting entertainment, including traditional Japanese music, dance and acrobatics. Many of our performances are interactive, so your audience can enjoy participating!
Workshop
Experience Firsthand Traditional Japanese Music and Performing Arts!
Since you have come all this way to visit Japan, while you are here you should experience something that can be found nowhere else! In our personal workshops you will get the chance to both listen to and play the shamisen, one of Japan’s most historic instruments. We will also teach you Japanese ozashiki asobi, which are traditional party games that have been enjoyed by geisha and their customers for generations. We can provide an authentic Japanese cultural experience that you will never forget!

Workshop 4,000yen per person
Performance 30,000yen～
For personal workshops we require a minimum of 3 participants, and can accommodate up to 10. Workshops will last for one hour, and will be held at the Wakanagi Training Center in Osaka. For workshops with more than 10 participants we can rent a larger space, but will have to add a surcharge for travel expenses (there is no surcharge added within Osaka City limits). The surcharge amount will be based on the number of extra performers required for your desired activities.

Wakanagi is a Japanese music school located in Osaka, Japan, but we teach students all over the world through Skype lessons. We published a beginner’s textbook for shamisen in both Japanese and English that is available electronically through Amazon.
